Practice Areas
Adoptions

We will lead you through all phases of the complicated legal adoption process.

Bankruptcy

Bankruptcy is a remedy of last resort. The laws have changed; we are up-to-date on the intricacies of these new laws. We assist those who find themselves in financial distress (such as collection calls, lawsuits, judgments, medical bills, etc.) who may need to discharge debts and effectively deal with creditors.

Business Law

From entity formation to litigation to merger or sale, we have the experience to provide your business with the legal counsel it requires.

Elder Law & Title 19

We have the experience and the patience to deal with legal issues of our older population, including: estate planning; Title 19/Medicaid planning and applications; real estate; landlord/tenant; and related legal matters.

Estate Planning

We take time to help you decide and plan what is right for you and your family. This could be a simple Will, a Will with Trust provisions, a Revocable Living Trust or perhaps a more complicated trust or estate plan. We look at your assets and liabilities, as well as your goals, such as avoiding estate and other taxes and avoiding or simplifying probate, in order to reach the best decision for you and your family.

We strongly urge everyone age 18 years and older to have a Financial Power of Attorney as well as a Health Care Power of Attorney with a Statement of Desires (Living Will). These basic documents protect you and your family from the arduous procedure of obtaining guardianship if you should become incapacitated.

Personal Injury

We can be of service in your time of need, whether you have injuries caused by auto accident or other cause. Let us provide you and your case with the attention and experience it deserves.

Probate

When a loved one dies, it is a difficult time for all. The probate process (the administration and distribution of one's estate after death) can be cumbersome. We help make this process as simple and smooth as possible.

Social Security

If you are disabled and denied Social Security benefits, we will work with your medical providers to ensure that you get all of the benefits to which you are entitled.

Special Needs Trusts

If you are leaving an inheritance to a loved one with special needs, you have many issues to consider: How to avoid cessation of public benefits and who will make sure that the inheritance is used in the manner you intended. We know the questions to ask and have the answers.
